These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Facturio service.
By creating an account or using the service, the user agrees to these Terms. If the user does not agree to the Terms, they must not use Facturio.

2. Purpose of the service
Facturio is a web application for business use that helps users create and manage invoices, clients, products and services, reports, exports, email sending, payment reminders and related workflows.
Facturio is not a legal, tax, accounting or financial adviser. The user is solely responsible for checking documents, tax data, details, amounts, deadlines, statuses and content before sending or using them.
3. B2B nature of the service
Facturio is primarily intended for commercial, professional and business use.
The user confirms that they use the service within their professional, business or organisational activity, unless otherwise expressly agreed with Facturio.
4. Account
To use Facturio, the user must create an account and provide accurate information.
The user is responsible for keeping their login, password and access to their email account secure. All actions performed through the user's account are considered the user's actions unless proven otherwise.
The user must notify us without undue delay if they suspect unauthorised access to their account.
We may refuse registration, restrict access or block an account if there are grounds to believe that the user violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights or creates a risk to the service.
5. User responsibility for data
The user is solely responsible for all data they enter, upload, edit or send through Facturio, including:
their company data;
client and contact person data;
invoice and document content;
tax numbers and rates;
bank details;
recipient email addresses;
message text;
files and attachments;
exported data.
The user must ensure that they have the right to use and process such data in Facturio.
6. Invoices, documents, VAT, PDF, CSV and DATEV
Facturio may help create invoices, PDF documents, reports, CSV/DATEV exports, credit notes and other related documents.
The user must independently check the correctness of documents before sending, exporting or transferring them to an accountant, client or third party.
Facturio does not guarantee that documents created through the service comply with all legal requirements of a particular country, industry or business situation of the user.
The user is solely responsible for the correctness of VAT, tax rates, registration data, details, dates, amounts, payment statuses and other data used in documents.
7. Email sending and reminders
If the user uses email sending features, they are responsible for the correctness of email addresses, message content, attachments, sending frequency and the lawfulness of communication with recipients.
Automatic payment reminders, notifications and email templates must be used only for lawful purposes and taking into account the user's relationship with the recipient.
Facturio may restrict or disable email features if they are used for spam, fraud, mass mailing, unlawful advertising or other abuse.
8. Paid plans and access periods
Facturio may offer free and paid plans. Feature availability, limits and pricing depend on the selected plan.
Paid plans are provided for the paid access period, for example monthly or yearly, depending on the option selected at checkout.
Payment for a paid plan is a one-time payment for the selected access period. Paid access is not renewed automatically unless this is expressly stated in the Facturio interface or on the checkout page.
After the paid access period ends, access to paid features may be restricted unless the user purchases a new access period.
9. Payment through Stripe
Payments may be processed through Stripe. The user must provide accurate payment information and pay the selected plan on time.
Facturio may receive information from Stripe that is necessary to confirm payment, provide access to the paid plan, display payment history and fulfil accounting obligations.
Full bank card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Facturio when payment is processed through Stripe.
10. Refunds
Payments for access to Facturio are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
If the user believes that a payment was charged by mistake or a technical payment issue occurred, they may contact info@facturio.eu.
11. Plan changes
The user may purchase another plan or another access period if this option is available in the Facturio interface.
Available features are determined by the current active plan, actual payment status and validity period of the paid access.
If the user purchases a new paid period or a higher plan, access conditions apply according to the selected plan and the technical logic of Facturio.
12. Free features and limitations
Facturio may provide free access, a trial period or a limited plan.
Free features may have limits on the number of documents, users, exports, sends, clients or other parameters.
We may change the terms of free access provided this does not conflict with obligations already accepted toward the user.
13. External services
Some Facturio features may depend on external services, including Stripe, Google OAuth, Google Analytics, email providers, hosting, file storage or other technical services.
We do not control the operation of such external services and are not responsible for their failures, changes, restrictions or actions where they are outside our control.
Use of external services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
14. Support, maintenance and beta features
Facturio may provide support by email, through the application interface or through other available channels.
Unless separately agreed otherwise, Facturio does not guarantee a specific support response time.
Some features may be experimental, test or beta features. Such features may be changed, limited or disabled without prior notice where necessary for product development, security or technical stability.
The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, bug fixes or failures of external providers.
15. Prohibited use
The user must not use Facturio:
for unlawful activities;
for fraud or deception;
for sending spam or unsolicited mass mailings;
to violate third-party rights;
to upload malicious code;
to attempt unauthorised access to the service;
to bypass plan limitations;
to disrupt Facturio infrastructure;
to process data for which the user has no lawful basis;
by persons or organisations prohibited from using the service under applicable sanctions, export restrictions or other mandatory legal requirements.
We may restrict or block access to the service if the user violates these Terms or creates a risk to the service, other users or third parties.
16. Service availability
We strive to keep Facturio stable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.
The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, failures, actions of external providers, issues with the internet, hosting, payment systems, email providers or other factors outside our control.
We may change, improve, limit or discontinue individual service features where necessary for security, product development, legal compliance or technical stability.
17. Exports and backups
Facturio may provide data export features, for example PDF, CSV, DATEV or other formats.
The user is responsible for exporting and saving important data in time if they need it for accounting, reporting, archiving or other purposes.
We may perform technical backups, but this does not replace the user's responsibility to keep their own copies of important documents where required by their business or by law.
18. Account deletion and termination of use
The user may stop using Facturio at any time.
To request account deletion, the user may contact info@facturio.eu.
After account deletion or termination of service use, data may be deleted or retained for a limited period where necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, protect rights, prevent abuse or support technical recovery.
Before requesting account deletion, the user must export any data they need for accounting, reporting, archiving or other purposes.
19. Suspension and termination of access
We may restrict, suspend or terminate account access if the user violates these Terms, fails to pay for selected paid access, uses the service unlawfully, creates a security risk or violates third-party rights.
After the paid access period ends, paid features may be restricted unless the user purchases a new access period.
20. Intellectual property
Facturio, including its design, interface, code, logos, texts, service structure and other elements, belongs to the service rights holder or is used on a lawful basis.
The user receives a limited, non-transferable right to use Facturio in accordance with these Terms.
The user retains rights to the data they enter or upload into the service, but grants Facturio the right to process such data to the extent necessary to provide the service.
21. Limitation of liability
Facturio is provided as a tool for managing business documents and workflows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for errors in data, incorrect amounts, taxes, details or document statuses, improper use of exports, email content, failures of external services, data loss where the user has not kept their own copies, indirect losses, lost profits or lost business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facturio's total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for access to Facturio during the 6 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, including intent, gross negligence or other cases provided by law.
22. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms if service features, plans, legal requirements or business processes change.
The current version of the Terms is published in the application or on the Facturio website. If changes are material, we may notify users by an available method.
Continued use of Facturio after changes take effect means that the user agrees to the updated Terms.
23. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, unless mandatory provisions of applicable law require otherwise.
Disputes related to the use of Facturio are subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Estonia, unless mandatory provisions of law require otherwise.
